Nick was required to email his mission leaders as well as our Bishop and Stake President once a month. This is far more difficult when you live at home and there isn't as much different in your life as before your mission, compared to missionaries that serve away from home! But, Nick was obedient. Here's his first email.
Hey, this is Elder Wright,
just updating you on my mission. So, currently mission consists of Save the
Family and the Chandler ROC. I have been enjoying it a ton and I'm glad that
I'm able to serve here. I can't think of much else to say, so if/when you email
back, let me know what to inform you about.
